Recently the Shanghai Internationl Airport Hotel began handling airport formalities, a aservice first offered by the Guangzhou White Swan Hotel. All guests staying at the Shanghai International Airport Hotel can complete airport formalities at the counter for China Eastern Airlines's Flights to Japan. This includes completing boarding formalities, checking luggage, getting boarding passes, paying airport constrcution an exit card. This is very convenient for guest as they can then board the airplane with their boarding the airplane pass and hand luggage. In the latter half of this year the hotel also will handle airport formalities for CEA's other routes, including one to Hong Kong.
